Crypto for casino players

Everything you need to deposit, withdraw, buy crypto, and manage a wallet — written for first-timers, not Twitter degens.

Wallets, demystified

A crypto wallet is just an app that holds your private key — the secret that lets you spend funds at a particular blockchain address. For casino play, you want one that's free, has a clean UI, and supports the chains we accept.

Our pick if you've never installed a wallet: Phantom

Phantom started as a Solana wallet and now supports Ethereum, Base, and Polygon out of the box. The UI is the cleanest in crypto — closer to Apple Pay than to MetaMask — and a single seed phrase covers Solana + every EVM chain we accept.

  1. Install Phantom. Go to phantom.app and install the browser extension or mobile app. Only ever use phantom.app — fake clones rank in search ads.
  2. Create a new wallet. Click Create New Wallet, set a password (for the device), and Phantom will show you a 12-word seed phrase.
  3. Write the seed phrase on paper. Two copies. Store offline. Anyone with these 12 words owns your wallet — Phantom and Spinman cannot recover them.
  4. Fund it. Either buy directly inside Phantom (MoonPay integration), send from an exchange, or use a card via our /crypto/buy guide.
  5. Send to Spinman. Open Spinman → Deposit → pick Solana → copy address. In Phantom, hit Send, paste, confirm.

MetaMask (for EVM-only players)

  1. Install from metamask.io — never from a search ad.
  2. Create a new wallet. Save the 12-word seed phrase offline.
  3. By default MetaMask only shows Ethereum. To use BNB / Polygon / Base / Arbitrum, click the network dropdown and "Add network" (Chainlist.org has one-click presets).
  4. To deposit USDT or USDC, you'll also need to "Import token" the first time on each chain — MetaMask doesn't auto-detect by default.

Seed phrase rules (read this twice)

  • Your seed phrase IS your wallet. Lose it → funds gone forever. Share it → funds gone instantly.
  • Never type it into a website. Not Spinman, not MetaMask support, not anyone. The only place it ever goes is into the wallet app itself, during recovery.
  • Never store it in a screenshot, photo, iCloud note, Google Doc, password manager that syncs to cloud. Paper. Two copies. Different physical locations.
  • Spinman support will never ask for it. If anyone says "send me your seed phrase to verify", it's a scam, end of story.

Custodial vs self-custody

Phantom, MetaMask, Trust, Rabby are self-custody — you hold the key, you hold the funds. Binance, Coinbase, Kraken accounts are custodial — the exchange holds the key, you have an IOU. Both work for funding Spinman. Self-custody is more private and more permanent (you can't get locked out by KYC).
